While junior players and leagues are the lifeblood of senior clubs, volunteers are the backbone. Every person that's involved in the week to week running of our junior team competition are volunteers... from the coaches and umpires, the support crew to the committee members. We're a team that loves company!
The Lismore region has a strong community spirit forged through adversity and history. If you're new to the area, volunteering with our club is a great way to get involved in our community. If you're a long-standing local with some spare time and know we welcome you with open arms and gratitude.
You'll find our club is well-organised and appreciative! Specific skills can always be put to good use, but you don't actually need a lot of experience to start and we make sure you have people and resources to guide you and get you going.
For most volunteer positions that work with or support children, it is mandatory to have an up-to-date and clean working with children check. We are looking to fill the following roles...
Whether you're green and looking to cut your teeth, or an experienced coach we have support for coaches at a club, league and AFL level.
> Coaching Coordinators
Support a coach and players and be a vital member of the team with just one or two hours of work a week during the season. The club has resources and guides to help you through.
> Time Keepers & Scoreboard Attendants
Are you handy with a stopwatch? Do you like blowing your horn (our horn actually)? How about operating a scoreboard at home and away games? We'd love to hear from you.
> Canteen Assistants
Our brand new canteen building with all mod cons is under construction and will be ready by the time our season starts.
How to get Game Day
All Game Day Information - dates, times, locations, teams can be found in the Game Day app, available as a free download on the Apple App Store or from Google Play. There's recently been a major overhaul of this app so don't despair if you've had an average experience of this app in the past - it's worth another go!

Can girls play in the junior teams?
Absolutely! In 2019 we are aiming to have several female teams across the ages ranges.
Are your coaches qualified?
Yes, all of our coaches are accredited and are required to attend monthly coaching training, ensuring accreditation points are up to date.
All our coaches also undertake mandatory working with children's checks.
