The club is seeking volunteers for the following roles in season 2020.
With the new competition only a few weeks away, now is the time.
All club volunteers must hold a working with children’s check valid and be supportive of the clubs culture and values.
As a coach, you get to take the reins of your very own team. You are there to develop the future superstars of the game whilst ensuring they continue to learn the core skills they require and have fun in the process. As a coach, an essential role is to also engage with parents to involve them at training and game days. At the conclusion of each game you will be awarding player of the day with a voucher, write up a summary of the game whilst highlighting some key moments and roping in your team manager/parent with ensuring all those great moments are captured on film for years to come.

We are also seeking a coordinator for our youngest of participants in Auskick/SuperStar
In this role, you need to engage and involve parents through the AFL guided training program for Auskick sessions and organise superstars and volunteers on game days. All material is at your fingertips via the website or app, so
Junior Umpire Coordinator
Organising home game appointments and sending through payment remittance for our club Footy for fun umpires (under 8.5 to under 11.5 matches).
This role is critical in ensuring each match is participated in the right spirit. As a ground marshall, you will have access to the club rules folder for any questions that the team managers may ask you. You are responsible before each match to meet with the team managers to understand playing numbers for the day, provide the umpires with match balls, collect team sheets, ensuring each team have organised their goal umpires and provide them with goal flags and scoring material, as well as answer any general questions. Postmatch you need to ensure that all scores and goal kickers have been completed on the team sheets, signed off by the coaches and the umpires have completed their paperwork. During the match you will be required to sit at the interchange benches and observe the match and engage with team managers to ensure all compliance requirements are being met.
General Committee member (Fundraising Officer)
Come into the inner sanctum of the best club in the northern rivers, if not AFL Queensland if we do say so ourselves! We are seeking an energetic individual that wants to assist in growing the fundraising activities of the club. You will need to be available to attend once per month club meetings, be accessible to communicate via messenger as needed and have an engaging persona to encourage parent and volunteer participation.
You will also have a passion and care for the club to see us prosper and grow.
Bus Drivers (multiple):
We are looking for a person/s with a Light Ridged (LR) licence to drive either a 8, 12 or 20 seat bus/es to transport our casino based players to training on Tuesday and Wednesday’s, along with driving our oldest age boys to Palm Beach Currumbin for training an game days. We are also looking for drivers to transport our Under 14.5 team to away games.
